Jermuk is a mountain spa town located in southern Armenia. It serves as the administrative center of the Jermuk Municipality within the Vayots Dzor Province, situated at a road distance of approximately 53 km (33 mi) east of Yeghegnadzor, the provincial capital.
The town is notable for its status as a destination for medical tourism. During the era of the Soviet Union, it was considered one of the popular locations for such health-related travel and treatments.
