Meghri is a town in southern Armenia that serves as the center of the Meghri Municipality within the Syunik Province. It is situated near the border with Iran, located approximately 376 km south of the national capital, Yerevan, and 73 km south of Kapan, the provincial capital.
The population of the town has fluctuated in recent years; it was recorded at 4,580 during the 2011 census and estimated at around 4,500 in 2020. According to the 2022 census, the population of Meghri was 4,159.
