Charentsavan is a town and urban municipal community located in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. It was originally founded in 1947 under the name Lusavan.
The settlement was renamed Charentsavan in 1967 to honor the Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents. According to the 2022 census, the town had a population of 22,071 residents.
