Byureghavan is a town and urban municipal community located in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. It occupies an area of 4 square kilometres and is situated approximately 16 kilometres northeast of the capital city, Yerevan, and 25 kilometres south of the provincial center, Hrazdan.
The town is bordered by the rural communities of Nurnus to the north and Arzni to the south. According to census data, the population has fluctuated over recent years, recorded at 9,513 in 2011, an estimate of around 8,300 in 2016, and reaching 10,432 as of the 2022 census.
