Verin Dvin is a village situated in the Verin Dvin Municipality within Armenia's Ararat Province. It is located approximately 30 kilometers south of the capital city, Yerevan.
The village is notable for hosting the largest Assyrian community in Armenia, with ethnic Assyrians making up roughly 2,000 of the 2,700 residents. The settlement features two Assyrian churches, including the church of Mar Tuma, which dates back to 1828.
Geographically and historically, Verin Dvin is positioned near the ruins of the ancient city of Dvin.
