Frashtan is a settlement located in southern Albania within the Gjirokastër County. Historically, it was situated in the former Dropull i Poshtëm municipality.
Following the 2015 local government reform, Frashtan became part of the municipality of Dropull. It remains positioned within the larger Dropull region.
