Selenicë is a municipality located in the Vlorë County of southwestern Albania. It serves as a local administrative division within the region's geographical framework.
The current municipality was established during the 2015 local government reform. It was formed by merging the former municipalities of Armen, Brataj, Kotë, Selenicë, Sevaster, and Vllahinë, which now function as municipal units. The town of Selenicë serves as the administrative seat for the municipality.
