Brataj is a village and former municipality located in southwestern Albania within the Vlorë County. Following the 2015 local government reform, it was established as a subdivision of the municipality Selenicë.
The municipal unit associated with Brataj includes several surrounding villages, specifically Lepenicë, Gjorm, Velçë, Ramicë, Mesaplik, Matogjin, Bashaj, Vërmik, and Malas. According to the 2011 census, the population of Brataj was recorded at 2,849 residents.
