Petrelë is a village and former municipality located in central Albania, situated approximately 15 km south of the capital city, Tirana. It currently serves as a subdivision of the municipality of Tirana within Tirana County.
The area is historically significant and is notably recognized for its castle. According to the 2011 census, the population of Petrelë was 5,542 residents.
