Rrëshen is a small town located in northern Albania within Lezhë County. Following the 2015 local government reform, it transitioned from being a former municipality to a subdivision and currently serves as the seat of the Mirditë municipality.
The town previously functioned as the administrative seat of the former Mirditë District. According to the 2023 census, Rrëshen has a population of 6,773 residents.
