Valbonë is a village located in the Kukës County of northern Albania. It is situated within the valley of the river Valbonë, positioned south of the mountain Maja e Thatë. Following a 2015 local government reform, the village transitioned from being part of the former municipality of Margegaj to becoming part of the municipality of Tropojë.
The village serves as one of the primary settlements within the Valbonë Valley National Park. It is characterized by its suitability for tourism and visitors, offering accommodations primarily in traditional alpine houses or inns.
