Korçë is a city located in Albania and serves as the seat of both Korçë County and Korçë Municipality. It is ranked as the eighth most populous city in the country. The municipality covers a total area of 806 km2 (311 sq mi) with a population of 75,994, while the city itself has a population of 51,152.
Geographically, the city is situated on a plateau approximately 850 m (2,789 ft) above sea level. It is surrounded by the Morava Mountains.
