Kakavijë is a village located in the Gjirokastër County in southern Albania. It is situated within the Dropull region and became part of the municipality of Dropull following the 2015 local government reform.
The village is notably positioned near the Kakavia/Kakavijë border crossing, which serves as a point of transit between neighboring regions.
