Barakī Barak is a town located in Afghanistan, serving as the center of the Baraki Barak District within Logar Province. It historically functioned as the capital of the province and is situated in a mountainous region within the valley of the Logar River.
The town derives its name from the historical Ormur tribe, which is also known locally as Baraki. The main road connecting Ghazni and Kabul passes approximately 20 km to the west of the settlement.
