Bagrami

Afghanistan

Bagrami is a village located on the eastern fringes of Kabul, Afghanistan. Situated at an altitude of 1797 meters, it falls within municipal District 12 and partially within District 22. The area has a population of approximately 31,680 residents and is accessible from downtown Kabul in about 30 minutes.

The region is home to the Bagrami Industrial Park, which serves as one of the major economic projects for the local area. Historically, the town also hosted a shanty town composed of mud-built huts in 2010, providing housing for refugees fleeing Taliban insurgency violence in Afghanistan's southern provinces.
