Lashkargah, historically known as Bost, is a city located in the southern region of Afghanistan. It serves as the capital of Helmand Province and falls within the jurisdiction of the Lashkargah District.
The city has an estimated population of 191,458 people. Hafiz Sadiq currently serves as the mayor of Lashkargah, succeeding his predecessor, Mawlavi Abdullah Rohani.
