Pasaband is a district located in the southern region of Ghor province, Afghanistan. It serves as a geographical area within the country's interior, characterized by its proximity to neighboring provincial boundaries.
The town of Shinkot serves as the administrative center of Pasaband District. Situated at an altitude of 2,566 meters, Shinkot is positioned in the western part of the district and lies near the border with Helmand Province.
