Khandud is a town situated in northeastern Afghanistan. It serves as the administrative center for the Wakhan District within Badakhshan Province.
The town is located near the left bank of the Panj River. It is accessible via a gravel road that connects Khandud to Qazideh and Ishkashim in the southwest, as well as Gazkhan in the northeast.
