Shawka is a village located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah within the United Arab Emirates. It is primarily recognized as a destination for outdoor activities, specifically noted for its popular hiking areas situated around Wadi Shawka and the Shawka Dam.

The Shawka Dam was originally constructed in 2001 and underwent a $33.4 million reconstruction project in 2020 to protect regional waterways and dams. The area is characterized by high levels of fertility and rainfall during the winter and spring seasons; notably, local residents reported that 2020 saw the heaviest rainfall in the region in 30 years.
