Zayed City is a planned construction project in the United Arab Emirates, formerly known as the Abu Dhabi Capital District. It is situated approximately 7 kilometres inland south of Abu Dhabi island, positioned between Mohammed Bin Zayed City and Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The district is designed to serve as the seat of the UAE's federal government and a primary centerpiece of Plan 2030. It will also function as the main location for Abu Dhabi's central government bodies, with total project costs estimated at $40 billion.
