Ordino

Andorra

Ordino is the most northerly parish located in the Principality of Andorra. It primarily encompasses the main area of the Valira del Nord river valley, also known as the Valira d'Ordino. The name Ordino refers to both the parish itself and its primary town.

The parish has a population of 4,858 as of 2017 and includes several other settlements, such as El Serrat, Ansalonga, Sornàs, La Cortinada, Llorts, Segudet, Arans, Les Salines, and Arcalís. It is notable for being home to the Sorteny National Park, which serves as the largest nature area in Andorra.

The town of Ordino preserves a vast medieval center that is closely linked to the traditional culture of the country.
