Guatemala, officially the Republic of Guatemala, is a country located in northern Central America. It shares borders with Mexico to the north and west, Belize to the northeast, Honduras to the east, and El Salvador to the southeast. The country also has coastlines on two bodies of water: the Pacific Ocean to the south and the Gulf of Honduras, an inlet of the Caribbean Sea, to the northeast.
